Team 30BG or Boyfriend FC?
Five months after the release of his third studio album, A Better Time, Afrobeat sensation Davido has finally shared the highly-anticipated official music video for "Lala", his feel-good party anthem with CKay.
The video was shot in a football stadium and features a match between Davido's Team 30BG and Ckay's Boyfriend FC. The visuals also feature cameo appearances from many industry faves including Peruzzi, Mayorkun, May D, and Dremo for Team 30BG and Oxlade, Blaqbonez, Jinmi Abduls, Zlatan, and Joeboy for Boyfriend FC. Speaking on the reason behind this posse cut of a music video, ahead of its release, Davido shared: "Creating this music video was an amazing experience, my whole career one thing I’ve always preached in my own words is “ We Rise by lifting others”! So in my own little way, meet some of my friends all having fun doing something we all enjoy!"
