Timaya and Buju Link Up on "Cold Outside"

Timaya's second single of the year.

Bayelsa singer and songwriter Timaya has dropped his second official single of the year titled “Cold Outside”, featuring hitmaker Buju. The track, which is produced by Young Willis, is a follow-up to “Eff Up” featuring Phyno released earlier this year in August. Over a steady, measured beat, the artists exchange verses about wanting to live peaceful lives without stress and worries.

The accompanying video directed by TG Omori seems like a paradox at first, as it depicts gang violence, with several scenes showing shootings, while Timaya sings: “I don’t want to pull no trigger.” However, when the chorus’s lyrics are interpreted, the street scenes accurately represent the fact that the streets are indeed cold outside.
